To support its growing project portfolio, Gladiators Group is seeking skilled and motivated Site Engineers (Mechanical) to oversee site execution, installation, maintenance, quality control, and project coordination activities.
Position Summary
The Site Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works, coordinating site activities, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting successful project execution.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, practical site experience, project coordination abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Site Execution
Supervise mechanical installation, erection, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning activities at project sites.
Ensure work execution is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Monitor daily site activities and provide technical guidance to technicians and contractors.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, and other project disciplines.
Project Coordination
Assist in planning and execution of project activities.
Coordinate with project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates.
Quality Assurance & Inspection
Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Conduct inspections and quality checks during installation and execution.
Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Support commissioning, testing, and operational readiness activities.
Identify mechanical issues and coordinate corrective maintenance.
Assist in preventive maintenance planning where applicable.
Ensure efficient functioning of installed equipment and systems.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce site safety regulations and company HSE policies.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE.
Promote a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Ensure compliance with statutory and client-specific safety requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
Maintain records of work completed, inspections, and material usage.
Assist in preparation of project reports, handover documents, and technical records.
Report project challenges, delays, and technical concerns to management.

Required Qualifications
B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in mechanical site execution, installation, maintenance, or project engineering.
Experience in industrial projects, infrastructure projects, EPC projects, or facility operations preferred.
