Position Summary
The Web Developer (WordPress Specialist) will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing company websites, landing pages, business portals, and web applications. The role requires expertise in WordPress development, website security, SEO optimization, UI/UX implementation, hosting management, and performance enhancement.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, creative problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in WordPress development, PHP, website customization, and digital platform management.

Key Responsibilities
WordPress Development & Management
Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and portals.
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins as per business requirements.
Create responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites.
Manage website architecture, navigation, user roles, and permissions.
Build landing pages for lead generation and digital marketing campaigns.
Ensure website functionality, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement timely solutions.
Perform website upgrades, updates, and maintenance activities.

Website Design & User Experience
Convert UI/UX designs into fully functional websites.
Ensure seamless user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Optimize website navigation and usability.

Collaborate with designers and content teams to improve website engagement.

Front-End Development
Develop responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

Back-End Development
Develop and maintain backend functionality using PHP and related technologies.

WooCommerce & E-Commerce Management
Develop and maintain WooCommerce-based websites and online stores.
Manage product pages, payment gateways, shipping modules, and customer workflows.
Optimize e-commerce performance and user experience.
Monitor online transactions and website security.

Website Security & Hosting Management
Implement website security measures and best practices.
Manage SSL certificates, firewall settings, malware protection, and backups.
Monitor website vulnerabilities and security risks.
Coordinate domain registration, DNS management, and hosting configurations.
Ensure business continuity through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.

SEO & Performance Optimization
Implement technical SEO best practices.
Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and search engine performance.
Configure and manage SEO tools such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
Improve organic search visibility and website rankings.
Monitor website analytics and user behavior.

Content & Portal Management
Support content publishing and website updates.
Manage news portals, blogs, business websites, and corporate digital assets.
Create forms, landing pages, and campaign-specific microsites.
Ensure content consistency and brand compliance across all platforms.

Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform website testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs.
Ensure code quality, website functionality, and security compliance.
Maintain development documentation and version control practices.

Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with marketing, design, content, operations, and management teams.

Required Qualifications
B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in web development.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
Strong portfolio of WordPress websites, portals, or web applications.
Experience in managing multiple websites simultaneously will be preferred.
